15 Month Pictures

During this past month, we have moved beyond getting excited over the typical baby check list of milestones. Sure, Alex had three molars surface. And he can speak up to five works. And he responds to simple commands. And he can eat with a spoon and take off his shoes.

But most notable and memorable over the past 4 weeks were playtime with Ava and Amblen, his first Happy Meal, his first trip to Mt. Adam’s Bar-n-Grill and a sleepover at Grandma and Grandpa's new house. In addition, he now gives high fives, the rock, giant bear hugs and shoulder massages. He started daycare, which means he is learning to sign, learning to share and learning to mimic other kids (good and bad). He is now a veteran hiker, swimmer and traveler, and he is actually becoming a bit of a daddy’s boy.

But no 15-month report would be complete without noting his vitals: 30 pounds and 34 inches. He is off the charts in every size category, which unfortunately means he can no longer get into the Red’s games for free.
