Although we didn’t think it was possible, we forced ourselves to dig out the backpacks, research our local state parks and wake up early one Sunday morning to hit the trails. We didn’t go in with any expectations, but were pleasantly surprised to find that a nature walk in Ohio is not all that different than in Colorado. Sure there were no Mountain vistas or elk on our path, but we had wooded trails, challenging terrain, creeks to explore, fossils to uncover and lake views along the way. Not bad for a 35 minute drive to Caesar’s Creek. Looks like I will need to order Alex a few more dry-wick Patagonia shirts after all. Thanks to the Hecklers for joining us on our adventure!
