The Spotter

As you have read before, I always like to guess Alex’s future occupation based on his current interests and abilities. Right now, he is playing a key role in our family by serving as the third pair of eyes. Now that Avery is mobile (not just moving, but quick and illusive), she is all over the house. And because we don't stare at her 24 hours a day like we did with Alex, she is into everything. If we turn our back for a second, she is crawling behind the TV, opening the oven or playing in the toilet. Therefore, we are teaching Alex to be a spotter, and overall he is becoming pretty good about alerting us of her where abouts ... especially when she is heading toward one of his toys.

So according to Wikipedia, all this hard work is opening up Alex’s career opportunities as a weight-training partner, a storm chaser, a play by play sports announcer or an agent in the British Military Intelligence agency.
