Not to be shown up by her big brother (who attended his first Reds game at 4 weeks old), Avery insisted we check out some inter-league play and head to Great American Ball Park to see the Reds take on the Angels this past week. Overall, it was a successful adventure.
Alex enjoyed the music between batters, the boats on the river and his giant #1 foam finger. Avery enjoyed sleeping through the first seven and a half innings and waking up just in time for her first rendition of “Take me out to the Ball Game.” And believe it or not, Andy and I enjoyed a warm summer evening, a few Miller Lites, a Red's victory and no whining or crying kids! How many home games are left on the schedule?
